What are some core values you live by?
One of the biggest values I live by is trying to find a positive in every negative situation. I believe maintaining a positive mindset, even during challenging times, helps create better outcomes and allows you to approach both life and work with resilience and perspective.
Tell us about any community initiatives you’re proud of
After having my two children, I began donating monthly to the Starlight Foundation, which helps bring joy and support to seriously unwell children and their families. It’s a cause that means a lot to me, as seeing children go through illness at such a young age is truly heartbreaking, and I’m proud to support an organisation that helps put smiles on their faces during difficult times.
How has your career led you to the role you’re in today?
I started in real estate at 18 years old on reception and, over time, had the opportunity to work across almost every role within a real estate office. Through that experience, I discovered what I genuinely enjoy most about the industry. Early on, I realised I was naturally drawn to the operational side of the business, including administration, projects, accounting, HR, settlements and database management, rather than sales or conducting condition reports. That hands-on experience across multiple areas has shaped the role I’m in today.
What’s something only locals know about this area?
Locals know there’s a fantastic farmers market held monthly around Lake Wendouree, where you can always find something unique, fun and worth exploring. It’s one of those great community events that really reflects the lifestyle and atmosphere Ballarat has to offer.
